On The Road To Full Time Cash Game Pro

I am restarting this blog, yet again, and for this I apologize, but it was necessary. I have decided once and for all and this time I swear I'm not going back on it, to teach myself through work and study to be a full-time cash game pro.  The reasoning behind this decision was actually twofold. I am convinced more than ever that cash games is the way to steady consistent income and in fact a blog that I read, TBC, actually inspired me to make this decision. If you haven't read Tony's blog then you must not read poker blogs much at all because his without a doubt the most popular one on the Internet.  He's a guy who definitely  lacks discipline in so many areas yet is able to make over $10 an hour playing $1/$2 NL cash games. Nothing against him, but if he can do it so can I. I may have to start at $4NL, but it's  what I will do.

To officially start this I have a bankroll just over $111, $82 on Carbon and $29 on Bovada. My play will strictly be full ring  nine player tables using my cell. Checked out the zone poker on Bovada but the tables are just too small for me to see so I will not be playing anything on that site for a while. I just can't see the cards well they are too small so until i have a laptop and a real place to live with wifi Bovada will not be used.

Am homeless but staying in a long-term shelter right now trying to save money to head to someplace in the Midwest. I like to keep certain things private so I won't say exactly where, but suffice it to say that I have specific reasons for wanting to move there.  The only thing I will say is I met someone online who I will call Allie and her and I have such a connection that I'm going to move to be near her. The plan is sometime this spring if don't get overly impulsive and just hit the road long before that. I don't have a car but I do have a 50cc moped. It will do anywhere from 30mph to as fast as 42mph depending on road and wind conditions.  I can travel long distances with her taking back roads staying off the interstate. What a way to see the countryside and when I do move I will be taking the moped. The trip is over thousand miles but under 2000 miles and it will take me several days and some overnight motel stays to make the journey but something I'm looking forward to. I don't have my own place for a couple weeks, but came down with pneumonia, missed workdays, and couldn't make the rent so that's how I ended up in the shelter.  I work 25-29 hours a week at my department store job that I've had since February, but am looking for something different.

So for now with the only option being  Carbon Poker I have over 20 buy-ins and I just hope it will be enough. I would prefer a 30 buyin bankroll but I have what I have. As for when I can play, Allie and I talk a lot on the phone and texting so I'll choose times like when she's working. I still need to check if the Carbon app will let me talk on the phone and play at the same time if it will that would be perfect. Allie totally supports my dream and ambition to play full-time. She's definitely a keeper. Any readers I have may think I'm crazy because me and her have never met face-to-face, but believe it or not we are totally in love with one another and there's no way I'm going to not be with her. Of course spring is a long time away a lot of things can happen and it will give us time to make sure the relationship will last. If we can make it through the next several months just with  phone calls and texting from now till spring then we definitely can have forever with each other.  I guess in some ways it's not all that different then it has been if a  woman's boyfriend or husband is in the military and shipped overseas. Those couples have to go through the same thing and if the relationship is strong enough you can make it through anything. I really hope it turns out that way because I'm crazy about this woman.

So I will try to get some playing in today, but I don't know how much. Either way the adventure, the journey, the road to tomorrow starts here and it starts now.  I'm going to my best to keep absolute accurate records as in earnings per hour, and amount of hours played.  At the end of each blog entry I will try to remember to post my original starting bankroll, the total hours played, total earnings, and amount per hour and which I will post in big blinds.  My goal is 5 big blinds per hour since that would equal $10/hr playing $1/$2 NL live.  The only bankroll I am currently considering and that will be posted is the Carbon bankroll which is $82.61 since I don't really have access to the money on Bovada under my current circumstances.  I guess that's all. I've said what there is to be said and my readers now know the current situation and plans. See you at the tables.
